Preparing RL-1 Slips for 2022 (Less than 51 Slips)

We would like to remind you that employers filing fewer than 51 RL-1 slips of the same type can produce and send them using Revenu Québec’s online services.
These employers can select one of the following options to file RL slips and the RL-1 summary:
- Produce the slips with an authorized software (either maestro* 3.04 or 3.05) then send them in an XML file with the EDI Transfer function;
- Use Revenu Québec’s Online Services;
- Fill out PDF or paper forms.
For the second option, employers must first be registered to the My Account for Businesses services and have access to a workstation compliant with Revenu Quebec’s system requirements.

Employers preparing more than 50 RL slips of the same type must file them as an XML file through the Internet or use online services (for RL-1 slips). Furthermore, if the EDI Transfer function which enables electronic transmission is not available in the Print T4 and RL-1 option (accessible through menu path maestro* > Time Management > Payroll > T4 and RL-1 > Print T4 and RL-1), please contact our Sales Department by phone at 450-652-6200, extension 266 or toll-free at 1-888-833-7777, extension 266, or send an email to sales@maestro.ca.
