Using the FleetBridge Interface with maestro*
Objective
The Fleetbridge software, a product developed by DataTrail, allows users to track a full vehicle fleet using GPS technology. It’s a powerful and flexible management tool that can be interfaced with maestro*.
The steps described in this document explain how to enable and configure the API .

Three steps are required in using the Fleetbridge application from maestro*:

Steps
Enable the Interface
If you wish to activate the interface, you must communicate with your account representative at Maestro to buy it. |
- From the maestro* main menu, click the Configuration icon on the toolbar.
- Select the Installation Options.
- Open the Interface option’s tree and look if the FleetBridge Interface box is checked.
- Click the Quit icon to close the window.
Configure the FleetBridge Interface
- From the maestro* main menu, click the Configuration icon on the toolbar.
- Select the General Settings.
- Under the General Settings section, click on the Miscellaneous option.
- Under the Fleet Management section located on the right portion of the window, select Fleetbridge from the Fleet Management System drop-down menu.
- Paste the activation key’s code in the API Key field.
The activation key is an alphanumerical code that unlocks and enables the interface. It is provided by DataTrail.
- Click the Save icon.
- Click the Quit icon to close the window.
Locate the Fleet’s Vehicles
maestro* > Projects > Project Costing > Dispatch > Project Dispatch |
- In a dispatch project window, click the Locate dispatches of the day icon.
- The Dispatch Map window appears on the screen; it displays the day’s dispatches on the map.
- On the the left portion of the window, in the Items tree, under the Fleet branch, users can select which items must be displayed on the map.
The accuracy of the data displayed on the map is entirely dependent of FleetBridge; maestro* only shows on a map the coordinates of the vehicles sent by the software.
- Click the X located in the top right corner of the window to close it.
