Configuring an Employee’s Access to maestro*MOBILE - Standard Licence

Objective

This How to covers the steps to give employees access to maestro*MOBILE.

Steps

Before they can use maestro*MOBILE employees must have been given three roles in the system: those of contact, employee, and user.

 

Assign a type of user access

  1. In maestro* main menu, click the Configuration icon and select Security Management.
  2. In window Security Management, select the user from the field Number, in section Identification at the top of the window.
  3. In section User Information, tab Description, select the Type of Access that you want the user to have (Web Service/Mobile or maestro* and Web Service/Mobile).
  4. In the same section of the window, verify that the Status of the user is set to Active.
  5. Still in tab Description, select a digital signature, if needed, in section User’s signature.
  6. Click the Save icon.
  7. Click the Quit icon.

 

Link the roles of user, contact and employee

 

maestro* > Time Management > Payroll > Employees > Employee Management

  1. In window Employee Management, section Identification, in field Number select the employee (or enter the employee’s number) to whom you wish to provide access.
  2. Click the Contact Management icon.
  3. In window Contact Management, enter the user’s number in field User, section Contact’s Information.
  4. Enter the required information in section Phone Number.
 

If the employee is likely to become a user of the service call dispatch feature, fill out the field Dispatch Communication Mode in section Phone Number. Record also a cellular telephone number.

  1. Click the Save icon.
  2. Click the Quit icon.
  3. Back on window Employee Management, click again the Quit icon.
