Define Surcharge Types
OBJECTIVE
The Define Surcharge Types option is used to create surcharges to be applied by the equipment or truck category.

These surcharges are applied when determining transportation or fuel prices. |
Steps
Creating a Surcharge Type
- Enter the required information in the Main Fields tab:
The Configuration icon is used to define entry options for the Code field.
Field
Description
Code
Surcharge type code.
Description
Description of the surcharge.
Calculate the percentage on both the material and the transport
If checked, maestro* applies the transport surcharge to the material and transport invoiced to the customer.
The range is the difference between the base price and the actual price
If checked, maestro* considers the date range entered in the breakdown section of the Transport Surcharge Table to the difference between the base price of the fuel (indicated in the submission) and the real price of fuel (indicated periodically in the price table of fuel).
- Click Save.
