Approve a transaction in maestro*MOBILE

  1. From the maestro*MOBILE main menu, press the Approvals interface.

A marker indicating how many items are pending approval is displayed in blue on the bell icon located to the left side of the menu, in the ribbon at the top of the home page. The maestro*MOBILE can then quickly see if an approval is pending without having to access the interface.

If for whatever reason there is a problem with the server, the following message will be displayed on the Approvals page: The approval functionnalities are not available.

  1. On the Approvals page, examine the pending approvals. Each one is shown with its approval type, code, amount, and comment from the previous approver. If there are no approvals, the page is empty and displays the No Pending Approval message.
  2. Press the approval type (for example, Catalogue Stock Orders) to display the content of the form attached to the transaction.
  3. Press the Next Step button to approve the transaction and display the page on which a user can enter a comment.

When a transaction is on its first or last step in the approval process, the Next Step, Previous Step and Return to Original Step buttons are not active. This indicates to the users that an action is required and might need to be executed in maestro* to either:

  • Modify a transaction that was returned to the process’s original step;
  • Transfer the transaction in maestro*.
  1. Enter the comment and press Save. The process move on to its next step. However, on the Approvals page, the approved transaction is no longer displayed. If the user does not want to approve the request immediately, he/she can press the Previous arrow to return to the Approvals page.
  2. From the Approvals page, approve or reject the other listed requests – if needed – or press the arrow located at the top left corner of the page to return to the maestro*MOBILE home page.
