Using the Punch In / Punch Out Option

Objective

Maestro*MOBILE's Punch In/ Punch Out option allows interface owners to enter the time of arrival to and departure from work. This data, including geopositioning (GPS location at the moment of time entry), is then transferred to maestro* so a supervisor can consult and/or modify the latter using the Punch In / Punch Out Management and Punch In / Punch Out Validation Report options.

Prerequisites

  • An employee maestro*MOBILE licence or a standard mobile licence

Steps

Entering In and Out hours

  1. In the maestro*MOBILE application menu, press on Punch In / Punch Out. The page of the first incomplete day is displayed.
    • If the date to be entered in the interface corresponds to the actual date, the Today label is dispalyed in green, at the top of the page, with the date.
    • If the date to be entered corresponds to the previous day (in sum, you are one day late on your time entry), the Yesterday label is displayed in orange, at the top of the page, with the date.
    • If the date to be entered corresponds to an earlier date (in sum, you are more than one day late on your time entry), the Late label is displayed in red, at the top of the page, with the date.
  2. Appuyer sur In afin que soit saisie l’heure d’arrivée et de début du travail.

If the date indicates the user's day off, the user must press on the Did not work button to skip to the next day. Please note that weekend days are treated the same way as week days. Therefore, if an employee does not work on Saturday and Sunday, they must simply press the Did not work button for both days.

  1. Once the day is over, press on Out.
  2. Press on the Next Day button.
  3. Confirm your passing from one day to the next when the validation message appears. It is impossible for a user to return to a previous date once the day has been validated.

Modifying In and Out hours

  1. If a user presses on the In or Out button when it has already been activated, another page appears. Only the time can be changed. The date field is generated by default, based on the current entry date. Even in the case of a night shift, the employee must only need to enter the time and maestro* will detect if the shift overlaps on another day.
  2. Once the new time is written, using the scroll down menu or the Current Time button, press on the Save button.
