Steps

Adding or Modifying a Recommendation

Recommendations that can be added or modified from the Recommendations interface are those regarding equipment, human resources or something else (other). Though all recommendations can be viewed in the interface, those regarding service calls, projects, or project work orders can only be added or modified in the Service, Project or Field Work Orders interfaces.

  1. On the Recommendations page, select the Entered status.
 

A search field allows the filter of a recommendation list according to the creation date, the type, the customer, the piece of equipment, the description, the follow-up date, or the follow-up comment.

  1. To add a new recommendation, press + Add a Recommendation. To modify an entered recommendation, press it.
  2. On the Recommendation page, select the appropriate Topic. The Other option defaults for all new added recommendations.
  3. Complete the page’s required fields.

The Follow-Up Date, Contact, Contact Name, and Comment fields are only displayed once the recommendation is saved. A maestro*MOBILE user who wants to complete these fields during the initial entry must first Save the Recommendation page, then return to recommendation to fill out the section related to the follow-up.

 
  1. Press + Add Document/Photo to attach a picture or document to the recommendation.

  1. Press Save to ensure all the information contained on the page is saved and to return to the Recommendations page. It is only at that moment that the recommendation also becomes available in maestro*.
 

The recommendation’s status will remain Entered until it is modified in maestro*. An equipment, human resources or other recommendation can be modified as often as needed, as long as its status is Entered.

 

Viewing an Entered, Ongoing, or Completed Recommendation

  1. On the Recommendations page, press the Entered, Ongoing, or Completed name. Only recommendations corresponding to the selected status will be displayed.
  2. Press a recommendation to view its content. Do not forget:
    • The content of a recommendation whose status is Ongoing or Completed cannot be modified unless that status is modified in maestro*, at the head office.
    • The content of a recommendation whose status is Entered and involves a service call, project or project work order can only be viewed in the Recommendations interface. To make a change, the user must access the recommendation from the interface where it was originally created, either Service, Project, or Field Work Orders.
  3. Press the Previous icon to exit the recommendation’s page.
