Truck Management
OBJECTIVE
The Truck Management option is used to enter the trucks used in Ticket Management.

Creating a Truck
- Enter the required information in the Main Fields tab:
The Configuration icon is used to define entry options for the Code field.
Field
Description
Code
Code that identifies the truck.
NOTE: This code is usually associated with the plate number of the truck.
Description
Description of the truck.
Mode
Available values:
Hired Trucker
Truck provided by a third party.
NOTE: The supplier must be created in Supplier Management.
Equipment
Truck classified as internal equipment.
NOTE: The equipment must be created in Equipment Management.
Supplier Code
Supplier code linked to Truck Driver mode.
Equipment code
Equipment code linked to Machine mode.
Surcharge Type
Default surcharge type applicable to trucks.
NOTE: The surcharges from Define Surcharge Types.
Tare Weight
Weight of the truck.
Volume
Maximum loading capacity of the truck.
Expense Activity
Default activity used to post the expense to the source project (either a quarry or an internal project).
Rate Code
Linked to the rates entered in Supplier Rate.
NOTE: The Truck Type can also be used to invoice transportation.
Number of Axles
Number of axles on the truck.
NOTE: The Number of Axles can also be used to invoice transportation.
- Click Save.
