Salesperson/Rate
Allows the assignment of salespersons to a sales team with a participation rate for every salesperson in the group. The sum of all participation rates should sum up to 100%. For example:
- Salesperson 1 - 70% participation rate - salesperson 1 will therefore gain 70% of the sales commission.
- Salesperson 2 - 30% participation rate - salesperson 2 will therefore gain 30% of the sales commission.
Thus, for a $1,000 sale with a 10% commission rate, the shared commission will be $100: $70 to salesperson 1 and $30 to salesperson 2.
CRM Formula
Identifies the possible values by salesman based on desired criteria. This field will only be visible if Customer Relationship Management (CRM) module is installed. Please read the Editing a CRM Formula section for more information.
NOTES: You must first configure the Formula to Assign Salesperson field in configuration option (Invoicing Module), in the CRM section. Based on the fields defined in configuration, you must enter the values for various fields for each of the salesperson.
For example, you can specify that salesman 1 works in the Ontario territory. To do this, in the configuration option, the formula for assigning Salesperson will be: PROVINCE.
Afterwards, when you enter a call in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), the salesman will be selected automatically according to the formula set out in configuration and the values specified in Salesperson Management.
- Click Save.
