Import Outlook Emails
Objective
Many users have, as part of their duties, the task of transferring emails and attachments from Outlook to maestro* so that they are attached to a transaction in the software. The Import Outlook Emails option allows importing emails from Outook to maestro* to attach them to transactions.

This option replaces the add-in program previously integrated into Outlook, that no longer worked with the new Microsoft version introduced in 2023. The Import Outlook Emails option works with every version of maestro* (except 3.04), both locally installed and operating from the Cloud. |

Import Emails from Outlook
- When the option is opened in maestro*, the user must first connect to a Microsoft account.
- Once the user connected, in the Mailbox Folders field, select the directory where the email to import can be found.
- If applicable, select a Subfolders.
- Indicate the Number of Emails to Display.
- In the newly-displayed list, select an email. A preview of the selected email is displayed in the lower-right pannel.
- Select a Contact.
The available contacts come from the Contact Management option in maestro*. This field allows identifying the sender of the email in maestro* so the maestro* Transmittal Log is kept up to date.
- The email subject is automatically entered in the Description field. If needed, change the description.
- Select the transaction Type that must be linked to the email, whether it be an Existing Transaction or a Transaction to create in maestro*. In any case. it is necessary to complete all fields reporting to this Destination.
- Indicate whether the email and its attachments must be saved.
- Click the Apply icon.
The email will then be available on the documents of the selected transaction.
The New icon resets all fields in the window.
