Define Priorities

OBJECTIVE

The Define Priorities function is used to create the definitions or purpose of the priorities.

 

Priorities are used in the following:

Work Orders module

  • Enter Work Orders to determine the priority of the work order.
  • Work Order Dispatch to manage priorities by colour.

Customer Service module

  • Call management to determine the priority of the call.

Customer Relationship Management Module (CRM)

  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to determine the priority of the call.

Estimating module

  • Estimating to determine the priority of the estimate.
  • Quotation Dispatch to manage priorities by colour.

Create a priority

  1. Enter the required information in the Main Fields tab:
 

The Configuration icon is used to define entry options for the Code field.

Fields followed by the * character are mandatory fields.

Field

Description

Code*

Code for the priority.

NOTE: By default, the system displays codes 0 to 9 when you press F7 or click the SEARCH button.

French Description

French description that identifies the priority.

English Description

English description that identifies the priority.

  1. Click Save.
