Proper Logout Method for Users in maestro*CLOUD

Objective

A user may block a remote session and then be unable to reconnect to maestro* in CLOUD mode. In such situations, the user may receive a message saying, "Your session has been recovered."

Indeed, the session may remain blocked when the user closes the remote desktop protocol (RDP) directly instead of the maestro* application. This document will help you release the connection so the blocked user may once again have access to maestro*CLOUD.

Warning! Work sessions in maestro*CLOUD must always be closed using the Log Off button and not by closing the Remote Desktop Connection with the X button.

Steps

Unblocking a Connection

  1. Firstly, access the www.maestrocloud.com website.
  2. Login with the blocked user.
  3. Instead of opening maestro*, click on the Log Off button.

  1. An RDP file allowing the user to reconnect to maestro* will automatically be downloaded on the work station.

  1. Wait two to three minutes and launch the RDP file.
  2. Reconnect to maestro* normally.
