Status of Physical Inventory Counts

Physical inventory counts originating from maestro*MOBILE fall into one of two statuses:

• Ongoing: this tab combines physical inventory counts that are in progress (with the Ongoing status). The Physical Inventory Count window defaults to the Ongoing tab. It is the only one that allows creating and modifying a physical inventory count;
• Completed: this tab only groups Completed or Confirmed physical inventory counts.

Once selected, the status appears in blue to ensure users know if they are seeing ongoing or completed physical inventory counts. Physical inventory counts are listed from the oldest to the most recent.

Tab	Description
Ongoing	The Ongoing tab displays physical inventory counts created in the Physical Inventory Count interface that are currently followed up upon, but for some reason not yet completed in maestro*MOBILE. An Ongoing physical inventory count can only be modified or improved upon from the maestro*MOBILE Physical Inventory Count interface if it has been created from this interface.
Completed	In the Completed tab of the Physical Inventory Count interface, physical inventory counts can have two statuses: Completed: the physical inventory count changes from Ongoing to Completed once it has been completed in maestro*MOBILE; Confirmed: once a physical inventory count that has been Completed from maestro*MOBILE is processed by the main office and saved in maestro*, its mobile status changes from Completed to Confirmed. Only transactions with the Confirmed status can be transferred from maestro*. A Completed physical inventory count cannot be modified in maestro*MOBILE but only in maestro*.

 

+ Add a Physical Inventory Count

When the window displays the Ongoing status, the first available button at the top of the page is named + Add a Physical Inventory Count. This option enables users to create a new physical inventory count which, once saved, will also appear in maestro*.

 

Brief Description of Physical Inventory Counts

The Physical Inventory Count page displays the list of physical inventory counts.

A brief description is displayed for each of the physical inventory counts visible on the page. The following information is available:

Information	Description
Counter	Number of the physical inventory count transaction (automatically generated).
Added	Date when the physical inventory count was performed.
Status	Status of the physical inventory count. Available values: In Progress Completed Confirmed
Created By	Name of the user who created the physical inventory count.
