Selection of the entry mode
Time worked entries performed in the maestro*MOBILE Timesheets interface can be done by the team leader or the employee himself. Depending on the settings configured in the Employee Teams option, the team leader may have to:
- Enter and approve the worked time for each employee; OR
- Only approve timesheets (after employees have completed their timesheet themselves).
The Employee Teams option is accessible through the following menu path: maestro* > Projects > Maintenance > Projects > Employee Teams
|
Additionally, in maestro*MOBILE, a user can opt to view timesheets Per employee or Per day. The total of hours worked and entered, per week or day, is located to the right of the time entry’s heading. The user can also decide which timesheets to display:
- Ongoing timesheets, which are for the current week’s entries; the week’s start date is shown in the top left corner of the page, under the Timesheets heading; AND
- Previous timesheets, which were entered for the week preceding the current period.
In maestro*MOBILE, icons are displayed in the employee timesheet headings as the team leader checks and reviews them. The icons enable the team leader to quickly scan the status of the timesheets. |
Timesheets can be displayed either chronologically or alphabetically.
Hour Summary
As its name indicates, the Hour Summary presents the summary of hours for the current week or the previous period. Incidentally, the week’s start date is located at the top left corner of the page.
What’s more, the page shows the cumulative time worked total per week, employee, or day. In each situation, a user can drill down on the information by pressing the [+] icon.
- If the interface user is a regular employee, he can complete his timesheet from this option. The team leader will then be able to approve the timesheet.
- If the interface user is a team leader, he can approve the team’s employee timesheets (as well as his own) from this page and thus transfer them to maestro*.
