Define Ethnicity

OBJECTIVE

The define ethnicity allows user to manage a database of various ethnic groups. The database is available in the Employee Management (U.S.) and allows for the identification of the ethnic origin of an employee.

maestro* > Time Management > Maintenance > Payroll > Define Ethnicity

Creating an Ethnic Origin

1. Enter the required information in the Main fields tab:

The Configuration icon allows user to define an input screen for the Code field, to remain in entry mode after saving, check the missing fields and keep the focus on the same field.

 

Field	Description
Code*	Ethnic origin code Important! This code prints on the Certified Payroll Report, if the External Code field is blank.
Description*	Description of the ethnic origin
External Code	Code used to identify the ethnic origin code to print on the Certified Payroll Report. NOTE: If a code is specified, it will replace the ethnic origin code when printing the report.

2. Click on Save.
3. Select the Print icon to access the list generator and print the ethnic origins, when needed.
