Characteristic Management

OBJECTIVE

The Characteristic Management option is used to create a database of characteristics to fully describe items.

The database of characteristics can be accessed by entering a catalogue order. Using characteristics is helpful to avoid creating multiple identical inventory items (for example, yellow, red and green pencils). You only need to enter a single inventory code if you use characteristics.

Create a characteristic

1. Enter the required information:

Field	Description
Code*	Code that identifies the characteristic.
Description	Description of the characteristic.

2. Click Save.
