Installing the Outlook Add-in for maestro*CLOUD
Objective
As part of their daily tasks, several users have to transfer emails and attachments from Outlook to maestro* to link these documents to a transaction. To take advantage of this functionality, and if maestro* is used through a cloud service, a specific add-in must previously be installed.
Using maestro*CLOUD implies that the application is installed on an external server, as opposed to Outlook being installed on the user’s workstation. The add-in ensures both instances can communicate with each other and share information from Outlook to maestro*CLOUD.

- Installed maestro*CLOUD 3.05 MS SQL Version
- Outlook Version 2016 Minimum

Installing the Add-in
- Open the Outlook application on the workstation.
- Click on the File menu, in the upper-left corner of the window.
- In the Account Information window, click on Manage Add-ins (and not Manage COM Add-ins). Depending on your company's security parameters, it is possible that you may have to confirm your identity. The default web browser will open and display the internet version of Outlook.
- The Add-ins for Outlook window is automatically displayed. To the left, open the My Add-ins tab and fine the + Add a customer add-in in the Custom Addins zone.
- Select the Add from URL option.
The contextual window Add private add-in from URL appears.- Copy the following manifest file URL address (https://outlookaddin.maestrocloud.com/manifest.xml), paste it to the field in the pop-up window and click on OK.
- A warning message appears: click on Install.
- The add-in has now been added to other programs and appears in the list of the Manage Add-in window, Custom Addins section.
Activating the Outlook Add-In
It is necessary to make sure that the activation Maestro*CLOUD complement has been completed.
- Close all Outlook instances (both workstation applications and on Internet, if still open).
- Then restart the Outlook application on your workstation.
The new add-in will be displayed in the ribbon at the top of the Outlook window. The icon is titled Transfer to maestro* and, after clicking on it, it is possible to transfer an email and/or its attachments to maestro*CLOUD.
