Inventory Issues
OBJECTIVE
The Inventory Issues function is used to meet the requirements of a requisition through items already in stock.

Creating an Inventory Issue
- Enter the required information in the Detail tab:
Fields followed by the * character are mandatory fields.
If the transaction type selected is Site Transfer, the default site is displayed. According to the "Use pass thru Site and Location from Requisition" setting, the system will display this information in the Default Source or the Destination.
Field
Description
Requisition / Project*
Number of the associated requisition and project.
Transaction Type
Available values:
Inventory-Project Transfer
Generates a transaction in the Inventory-Project Transfer option.
Internal Sales
Generates a transaction in the Internal Sales option.
Stock reservation
Applies a reservation for the quantity entered of the selected item and generates an inventory adjustment transaction.
Site Transfer
Generates a transaction in the Site Transfer option.
NOTE: You can define a default transaction type by clicking the Configuration icon.
Requisition Date
Date of the requisition.
Date Required
Required inventory release date.
NOTE: By default, the system enters the required date for the requisition, but it can be changed.
Posting Date
Posting date of the inventory release.
NOTE: By clicking the Configuration icon, you can specify that the posting date is defined by default according to the date required or the current date.
Reference
Reference number for the transaction.
Specification
Specification for the inventory issue from Define Specifications.
Work Order
Work order number associated with the inventory issue.
NOTE: By default, the system displays the work order associated with the requisition if applicable, but it can be changed.
Create a purchase requisition for the missing items
Creates a new purchase requisition for the items missing from inventory, if the box is checked.
NOTES: The original requisition number is displayed on the newly created requisition as a reference.
The newly created purchase requisition will not be linked to the project of the original requisition. For more information, refer to the "Creating a purchase requisition from an existing requisition" document.
Site
Default site to which the material must be transferred.

The fields available vary based on the type of transaction selected.
You can display the details of the transaction based on the print order of the requisition order if the Display details grouped by Requisitionfield is checked in Configuration. The print order of the requisition form is specified in Configuration for the Purchasing module.
Inventory-Project Transfer and Internal Sales
Field

Inventory Code
Inventory code from Catalogue Management.
NOTE: This field cannot be modified. The system displays the items from the selected requisition.
Description
Description of the item.
Long description
Used to enter a more complete description of the item manually.
Company
Name of the company for which the item is required.
NOTES: Available in multidimensional mode only.
By default, the system displays the company entered on the requisition line, but it can be changed.
Unit
Conversion unit.
NOTE: The unit varies based on the factor entered in the item in the Catalogue Management option.
Site
Site on which the item is located.
Location
Actual location of the item in the system.
Characteristic
Item characteristic.
Identification
Item identification.
Reservation no.
Reservation number.
NOTE: This number can be entered manually by the user.
Date Required
Required inventory release date.
Order Qty
Quantity requested.
Qty Available
Quantity available in stock.
Qty Invt
Quantity taken from stock based on the inventory unit.
Qty Suppl
Quantity taken from stock based on the supplier's unit.
Qty to Order
Quantity to be ordered when the system must create a new purchase requisition for the missing items.
NOTES: If the Create a purchase requisition for the missing items field is not checked, the Qty to Order column is not displayed in the breakdown grid.
You can only create one purchase requisition per line in the original requisition.
The Configuration option contains a configuration named Suggest the quantity required as the default quantity to be ordered for requisitions that have not been processed by procurement management. If this box is checked, when you add requisition lines to the grid, the Qty to be Ordered equals the Qty Required unless the line has already been processed. This configuration is for the Transfer Inventory to Project transaction type.
U.P. Invt
Unit price based on the inventory unit.
U.P. Supp.
Unit price based on the supplier's unit.
Discount
Discount percentage.
Tx 1
Tax code applicable.
Tx 2
Tax code applicable.
Call Number
Service call number associated with the order.
Project
Project number affected by the transfer.
Activity
Activity affected by the transfer.
Group
Group affected by the transfer.

Source Site
Source site of the item. Site from which the item is taken.
Source – Location
Actual location of the item in the system.
Source Reservation No.
Source reservation number. By default, if a reservation number is specified in the requisition, it is displayed automatically during the site transfer.
NOTE: If you check the appropriate field in Configuration, you can prevent copying the reservation number from the requisition to the Source Reservation Number column.
NOTE: This number can be entered manually by the user.
Destination company
Name of the company to which the item is transferred.
NOTE: Available in multidimensional mode only.
Destination Site
Destination site of the item. Site to which the item is sent.
NOTE: If the Use pass thru Site and Location from Requisition field is checked in Configuration. These two fields from the requisition will be imported into the Destination Site and Location columns; otherwise they will be imported into the Source Site and Location columns.
Destination – Location
New actual location of the item.
Destination – Reservation no
Reservation number at the destination.
NOTE: This number can be entered manually by the user.
You can select the Status of purchase requisitions created by the system by selecting the status by clicking the Configuration icon. This configuration applies only to Transfer Inventory to Project and Inventory - Site Transfer transactions.
