Close a Project
OBJECTIVE
The Close a Project function is used to close a project. Costs cannot be distributed to activities in closed projects.
|
We recommend closing projects to prevent errors. Closing a project does not affect access to project information. It is not necessary to use the option Close a Project before the closure of a project managed at the expense level. For the active projects managed, it is necessary to perform a close of project before proceeding with the closure of projects otherwise no reversal of current work will be executed. When a user tries to close a project, maestro* will display a warning message and prevent saving when there is an order related to the project that is not closed. But if an order line or order lines are linked to the project and these lines are closed, it is possible to close the project even if not all lines are closed for the same order. Only the lines linked to the project have to be closed. It is possible to prevent the closure of a project which has remaining quantities in the inventory location, if the Refuse to close a project if there are items in the Inventory Site checkbox in the Configuration is checked. In this case, maestro* displays a message indicating that there are quantities or of the remaining values in inventory location and does not allow the user to close the project. |
