Field
Description
Maintenance Interval
Used to plan and display tasks by interval in the Maintenance List section.
The number of months can be entered using either whole (1, 2, etc.) or decimal (0.25, 0.75, 2.25, etc.) numbers.
NOTE: This function causes the creation of a maintenance task by interval.
Task Interval
Used to manually create a list of tasks to be carried out in the Maintenance List section.
The number of months can be entered using either whole (1, 2, etc.) or decimal (0.25, 0.75, 2.25, etc.) numbers.
NOTE: This function causes the creation of a single maintenance task.
You can establish regular maintenance intervals by clicking the Automatic Maintenance Creation icon.
Field
Description
Interval 1
Interval associated with the Usage Meter 1 field.
NOTE: For example, every 5,000 (km) if counter 1 is a kilometre counter.
Interval 2
Interval associated with the Usage Meter 2 field.
NOTE: For example, every 10,000 (hours) if counter 2 is an hour counter.
No. of Months
Base interval in months.
NOTE: For example, every 3 months or 5,000 km.
Number of maintenance tasks to be defined
Total number of maintenance tasks to be planned.
Format of the maintenance code

- Maintenance List section.
Field
Description
Code
Maintenance code.
French Description
French description that identifies the maintenance task.
English Description
English description that identifies the maintenance task.
Interval
Associated with the counters.
NOTE: If only one counter is selected, only one interval column is available. If two counters are selected, two interval columns are available.
If Maintenance Interval is checked in the Maintenance calculation based on section, this means the counter interval is used. The interval represents the number of units (kilometres, hours or other) between two maintenance sessions.
If Task Interval is checked in the Maintenance calculation based on section, this interval should represent the shortest interval possible between two tasks.
No. of Months
Interval in number of months determined when defining maintenance tasks.
Note
Specific note to the displayed about the maintenance task.
- Enter the required information in the Tasks to Complete tab:
Field
Description
Code
Code from Define Tasks.
NOTE: You can search for tasks defined in the task file.
Description
Description of the task.
Section
Group of tasks, when required for printing on the maintenance form.
NOTE: The sections must be defined in the Section definition tab.
Sub-Section
Sub-group of tasks, when required for printing on the maintenance form.
NOTE: The sub-sections must be defined in the Section definition tab.
Interval
Associated with the counters.
NOTE: If only one counter is selected, only one interval column is available. If two counters are selected, two interval columns are available.
If Maintenance Interval is checked in the Maintenance calculation based on section, this means the counter interval is used. For tasks where the Included field is checked, the interval identifies the base maintenance task from which the task was selected. For tasks that are specific to the current maintenance task, the interval indicates when the task should be carried out for the first time.
If Task Interval is checked in the Maintenance calculation based on section, the interval is extremely important because it indicates when the task should be carried out.
No. of Months
Interval in number of months determined when defining maintenance tasks.
Formula
Used to select or enter a formula to calculate the specific dates applicable to this task.
NOTE: This function is under development and should not be used at this time.
Estimated Time
Time estimated for carrying out the work.
Note
Specific note to the displayed about the maintenance task.
Included
Indicates that the task was created in the previous maintenance session and that it redisplays automatically for the selected maintenance session.
NOTE: For example, for a maintenance interval of 5,000 km, the tasks created for the 10,000 km interval are repeated automatically for maintenance sessions at 20,000 km, 30,000 km, and so on.
Exclude from current maintenance
Indicates that the task must be omitted fo a specific preventive maintenance, even if it is part of the planned tasks for this maintenance.
NOTE: For example, a task can consist of the motor oil level verification of a vehicle. However, this task can be necessary for all maintenance except for the one planned at 600 hours, since an oil change must be done. Thus, if the Exclude from current maintenance box is checked for the oil level verification task for the 600 hours maintenance, the said task will still be displayed for all other maintenance because it is still relevant.
