Scheduled Maintenance Management

OBJECTIVE

The Scheduled Maintenance Management option is used to recall equipment based on maintenance or tasks to be performed. Recalls can be based on a range of dates if necessary.

 

Late maintenance tasks are displayed in red or in the colour defined by clicking the Configuration icon.

Recall Equipment

 

Equipment for which a recall has been entered without producing a work order are displayed automatically in the List of equipment to schedule section.

You can redisplay the equipment to be recalled at any time based on the recalls saved by clicking the Display the schedules in progress icon.

 

  1. Enter the required information:
 

Equipment is recalled if the date of the next maintenance or task is between the Start Date and End Date.

You can add equipment that is not included in this range manually. The equipment code and the type of maintenance must be entered.

Category

Equipment category from Define Maintenance Types and Tasks.

Project

Project number from Project Management.

Location

Location from Define Locations.

Person in Charge

Name of the person in charge of the equipment from Employee Management.

Start date

Recall start date.

End Date

Recall end date.

% Reached

Displays the equipment based on the percentage reached.

NOTES: This field can be used to display equipment that has not yet reached the percentage for required maintenance, but that are about to reach it. This makes it possible to prepare the recall for this equipment in advance.

This percentage is calculated based on the counter and intervals.

PMP

Regular

Regular maintenance.

Preventive maintenance plan.

  1. Click Search for equipment to schedule.
  2. View the information in the List of equipment to schedule tab:
 

You can change the scheduled recall date for the next maintenance activity, type of work order, maintenance code to be performed, list of tasks, necessary parts and notes, and you can specify the persons in charge assigned to maintenance. All of this data is transferred to the work order when the work orders are prepared. However, if the code for the maintenance to be performed is changed, the counters and scheduled date are not recalculated.

NOTE: When you enter the Code, the Description and Category are displayed. They cannot be changed.

Last Maintenance

Displays information about the last maintenance performed based on entries in the Work Order option.

Next Maintenance

Indicates the next maintenance to be performed as well as the date on which the maintenance will be performed.

Information is calculated based on entries made in the counters and the interval set up in Define Maintenance Types and Tasks.

In Progress WO No.

Displays the number of the work order already in progress (whose status is not Closed) attached to the equipment.

NOTES: The work order number can be the same as the one displayed in the Last Maintenance - WO No. column.

This column displays only work the order numbers which have the same maintenance type as the type selected in the header for Scheduled Maintenance Management: Regular or PMP. Repair work order types are not displayed.

Schedule

Used to confirm that maintenance should be performed on the equipment. The confirmed equipment is displayed automatically in Generate Work Orders.

NOTE: When the box is checked, if there is already a work order in progress in the In Progress WO No. column, a warning message will be displayed, allowing you to choose whether or not a recall is still necessary.

Priority

Used to prioritize maintenance in relation to other maintenance to be performed.

NOTE: The priority is from Define Priority Codes.

  1. Check the Schedule column for equipment to be recalled.
 

Only equipment for which the Schedule column has been checked will be included on the work orders produced.

  1. Click Save.
