Model Management

OBJECTIVE

The Model Management function is used to predefine a structure with quantities and budgets. Models are advanced versions of project templates.

Models are primarily used in the residential construction sector.

 

PREREQUISITE

• Define Project Templates
• Define Cost Groups

 

Steps

maestro* > Projects > Maintenance > Project > Model Management

 

Create a model

1. Enter a model number and description.
2. In the Model Detail tab:
   1. Select a project Template.
   2. Check the Budget by Period box, if necessary, to enable the creation of budgets by period in projects, when importing budgets from a model.
   3. Enter the required information in the Activity and Group Budget section:

Field	Description
Activity	Code for the activity.
Description	Description of the activity.
Group	Group linked to the activity. NOTE: The selection of groups takes into account the access restrictions to the groups determined in the project template of project.
Quantity	Quantity budgeted by activity and group.
Budget	Amount budgeted by activity and group.

3. Click Save.
